What You'll Need:
- Rebel Cocoa Chocolate Sauce
- Toasted Almond Syrup
- North Star Espresso
- Milk of your choice
- Cocoa Powder to garnish
How To Make It:
- Add 25g (12oz cup) or 35g (16oz cup) of chocolate sauce to a cup.
- Add 10ml (for 12oz cup) or 20ml (for 16oz cup) of almond syrup to the cup and stir together with the chocolate sauce.
- Pull a double shot of North Star espresso overtop of the syrup/sauce mixture and stir together until well mixed.
- Sprinkle with cocoa powder.
- Top with steamed milk (pour your favourite latte art).
- Enjoy!
Cool Fact:
Despite its name, there are no cherries in the Black Forest Mocha! There's a compound, benzaldehyde found in almonds which is also abundant in cherries. This is what imparts the "cherry" tase in the Black Forest Mocha.
