Teas come from a single plant, the Camellia Sinensis. If left to wither, or oxidize, the tea leaves turn black. If immediately steamed, they remain green. Oolong teas range between the two, meaning they are partially oxidized. White tea is the least processed: it is comprised of exclusively the top leaf and bud of the tea plant. Numi is committed to using Organic and Kosher whole leaf teas, real fruits, and fresh spices. Numi does not utilize left over tea dust or fannings and does not add oils, flavourings, or sweeteners. All Numi Teas are certified organic only.
